Pan-Pacific Parade 2017
06.11.2017
We have previously participated in the Pan-Pacific Ho'olaulea stage performances, but this year, we marched in the parade. The recent weather in Hawai'i has been unpredictable and unfortunately, the rain came. As some of you know, our lions and instruments are not waterproof and will weaken and deteriorate if exposed to a lot of liquid, so we aren't able to perform in the rain, but will still participate in walking in any parade/event. Fortunately, the blue skies emerged as we stepped closer to our starting point and were able to bring out our equipment. We may not have an army of members but we have a lot of them to bring out FOUR lions! Rain or shine, we will still be representing our club!
*Thank you all that have shared pictures!*
