Hickam Elementary School
One of our meet and greets were for the second grade level at an elementary school on a military base. We wanted to perpetuate our culture by sharing basic fundamentals to students who have not encountered with lion dance at all, especially military families. With smaller groups (one grade level or small school), we are able to extend the meet and greet to a "backstage" experience allowing students to try the different instruments and see inside the lion head and how it works.
